Archeologist from Hebrew University discovered Balsam (balm) in a juglet in the Caves at Qumran. Although it is not known what the orgin or type of Balsam was in the juglet, the oil was very rare in Biblical times and was cultivated in the Valley of Jericho. We offer Balsam Oil made from the Myroximum Balsumum Tree. Genesis 37:25: a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. We have Balsam in both Essential (Pure) and Blended Anointing Oil

We have also expanded our Ketoret selection to include Incense, Anointing and Essential oil. Ketoret is from Exodus 30:34-36 and is 11 spices (oils) as given to Moses by God. Found at Essential (Pure), Blended Anointing Oil and Incense .

As written in the Bible, anointing with oils is a symbol of being set apart by the Holy Spirit for special purposes in God's Realm. Our biblical pure and blended anointing oils during biblical times were used for ceremony and to heal. Our Exodus 30:21-29 anointing oil is the exact biblical blending of myrrh oil, cassia oil, calamus oil, cinnamon oil and olive oil given to Moses by the Lord. The scent is cinnamon like with a wonderful woody aroma.

Our use of these biblical anointing oils helps us to symbolize and enhance the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to fulfill a special purpose. We believe that when using anointing oils, how you say your prayer does not matter in God's eyes. When you come from the heart and light of the Holy Spirit you are giving and receiving God's Holiness. No matter what religion you choose, these anointing oils can be used by you.

We use the anointing oils by placing the oil in the palm of the hand and then rub with the fingers lightly, then touch the forehead, crown of the head and on the throat region in the sign of a cross, but any method you choose is acceptable.

Some History: Why did we do this? In 2003 Marilyn searched for information on the oil that Mary Magdalene anointed Jesus with and discovered that it was Spikenard. She searched an finally found what was advertised as Spikenard anointing oil. What she received was oil with a sweet scent but with little body. In other words lots of carrier oil and very little REAL oil. She then found pure Spikenard and when compared to the original anointing oil found that the scent's did not agree, not even close. She was very disappointed with the experience. A few months later Jesus came to her in a dream and told her to "bring anointing to the people".

Sacred Spiritual Products was formed and we have not wavered from our goal of delivering authentic pure and blended (not synthetic) anointing oils that have body (blended ratio is 1 to 4) and oils that are the purest that money can buy.
